Wonderful nautical 1940’s Flush Mount Art Deco / Retro glass, wood and aluminum ceiling light fixture. This light is perfect for vintage powder room, boy’s room or kitchen. This super fun nautical light fixture is all original, with new wiring. This light was made by VIRDEN in the 1940’s or 1950’s. This light is in spectacular condition for age, looks nearly new. It takes three standard light bulbs, up to 40 watts each. If you require more light, you may use LED bulbs to get much more light and keep the heat and wattage lower. The sockets have been rewired. MEASUREMENTS: Shade Diameter: 10 1/2″ Light with wooden Handles Diameter: 14 1/2″ Length or Drop from Ceiling: 5 1/2 The vintage light fixture and shade are in wonderful condition. The original vintage shade shows nearly no visible wear at all, it has one small scratch in the painted portion. The vintage fixture has very little wear from age, nice condition.
