Red Lens Neon Vrsar Brass Post Mounted Navigation Light. This is a large, red lens Neon Vrsar brass post-mounted navigation light that has been salvaged from a once working vessel and rewired for commercial and/or residential use. The green light indicates the starboard side. The white is seen from all angles typically mounted on the stern. This post light is made of solid brass. The light measures 13 inches tall including the wing nut. It is 9 inches in diameter. The base on this light measures 5 inches in with 3 mount holes. The red Fresnel lens is quite stunning. There are only a few chips in the lens due to years of sea travel. The light weighs 16.9 pounds. Mount Holes: 3 Weight: 16.9 lbs. We have installed a new porcelain bulb holder, wiring, and a ground wire. All new electrical parts are UL-listed and are rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts. The bulb holder takes a medium base bulb of 100 watts or less. The new wiring exists through the post-mount. To access the bulb, undo the latch and lift the hinged lid.
