Vintage Ship’s Compass Brass Binnacle Hood Ritchie Nautical Marine Light Decor

Ritchie Pembroke brass compass, 9 1/2″Diameter, marked 116923, 8″ glass is clear and scratch free, outside ring is 11 1/2. Brass hood with window. Binnacle has missing door panels, which were modified with red plexiglass. An electric bulb was installed inside body, for decorative lighting purposes. Spheres are 6 1/2Diameter. Total measurement is approximately 43″-44″ tall x 15Diameter. Nunotani Keik Seisakusho, Ltd. (NK) Clinometer, Amagasaki Japan, still has bubble inside. Inside lighting as is/ not working. Noted conditions: Wood body has a weathered finish, Electric lights do not work and need to be reworked or possibly completely replaced. 12 photos are a part of this description. Very good condition for its age. Measures 13.5 x 8 not counting handle at top. Weighs over 12 lbs. Fresnel glass has a few small chips, nothing major. Vintage Ship’s Deck Prism Light Green Glass Nautical Pyramid Boat Paperweight

Inlaid like precious jewels in the deck of the gigantic J Yachts, Prisms dispersed daylight into the cabins below. The dangers of oil lamps as fire hazards meant this type of lighting was never used below the deck – a hole would be drilled from the deck into the cabins below and the prism would be caulked into the hole. It would catch the sunlight and disperse light into the cabin below. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flaws. Would make a great paperweight or sculptural art object, conversation piece. Antique Maritime Navigation Ships Signal Light Lantern, Scarce WWII Era Nautical

From my research it appears to be a WWII 1940’s, believed to be GP, Navigation or Deck Light. This was probably either a Naval Vessel, Troop or Supply Transport lantern. Clear lenses in very good condition noting one tiny chigger. The lantern is missed its burner. But I believe the piece to be in top form otherwise. Part of the model number can be seen and if looking closely at my close-up shots you can see enough to know the maker. Measurements are approximately 11″ tall (without the top movable brass bracket) by 8.5″ wide. Please see and enlarge all photos as they are part of description.
