VINTAGE 16 Perkins PERKO Marine Lamp Copper & Brass BOW LIGHT RED GLASS LENS

Im not sure if this is copper or all brass. The fittings are definitely brass but the rest feels like copper to me but I could be wrong. 16 inches tall with some issues to the glass as seen in the photos. When I opened it up someone had clearly just duct taped the fixture in place inside. It will need to be re-fastened to be used. Please see the last couple pictures for the inside. Perkins #8 Antique vtg Marine Lamp PERKO Brass Nautical Lantern Ship Light Oil

Antique Perko Marine Lantern with an 8 Perkins Globe. This was originally an oil lamp, but has an old electric socket added in the top, but it was not drilled or altered, other than a metal holder was soldered inside the top for the socket. This could be used as an oil lamp again if you get a small font for the bottom. If you want to use it with the electric parts, it needs to be rewired and inspected before use. The surface shows normal wear from age and use, such as old dents and soiling. It will need a good cleaning. Measures about 18″ tall x 9″ diameter. A great pair of PERCO PERKINS PORT & STARBOARD MARINE KEROSENE LANTERNS very good condition the fonts have good working burners with wicks the glass is perfect there is some rust on the back of one lantern and a few small stress cracks on the top of one in the brass that doesn’t effect use! This piece has been converted to electric at some point and does not have the burner. It will need to be rewired since the there is no external cord for power that i’m able to see. This is a unique pair of marine lanterns. They were made by the Perkins Marine Lamp Company under the Perko brand. The each weigh about 3 lbs. The base is 7 wide and they are about 9 tall. It is unusual to find both the clear and red ones together. They are electric lamps with the wiring underneath.
