Vintage Weather Tight Cast Brass Nautical Post Light. Vintage Nautical Post Light. This vintage weather tight cast brass nautical post light measures 11 inches tall by about 8 inches wide. The heavy duty cast brass base has two mounting legs with holes that are about 7 1/2 inches on center of each other. This weather tight brass nautical piling light can be mounted with the glass pointing up or down. It weighs about 17 pounds. This light has a weathered look and the cage will have the normal bends and possible repairs. Originally the wiring entered one of the two side conduit holes. We have enclosed the original conduit holes with copper caps, and a new hole has been drilled in the center of the base that will allow for a very clean installation. Height: 11 Diameter: 7.5 Mounting Legs: 2 Weight: 17 Pounds. We have installed a new UL-Listed bulb fixture and wiring, including a ground wire, that is rated up to 250 volts and 660 watts. This light takes a medium base bulb of 100 watts or less. Because of the construction design, this light can withstand direct water spray, and the bulb compartment will remain water tight.
