So they have paint, dirt and grim. Looks to be missing the insides and hook/hanger. Glass globe has some chips around the edges. The orange globe is broke by the base but still screws in, see photos. I cant get the green metal cage to unscrew. Each measures about 8 tall and 4 wide. Vintage Perko Green & Red Brass Teardrop Boat Light. This light has wonderful patina. In good vintage condition with a few scuffs and scratches fro normal use. Red lens has a very small rough spot as seen in picture. The light fixture inside the casing is untested. I have know idea if the light socket is functional. 6 3/16″ long X 3 3/4″ wide X 3 3/8 tall Please see all 12 photos taken today for the most accurate descriptions. VAN BRUNT Maritime Explosion Proof Solid Metal Vintage Steampunk Lights (Pair)

It’s tough to find anything about these in part due to the Van Brunt Brooklyn NY writing on them bringing up other unrelated search items. I wish I was able to tell how old they are but these are very old without a doubt. There is Van Brunt Brooklyn N. ” written on them both and then one has “3S” and the other has the numbers “1S. The design of these is in a league of their own compared to other “steampunk” lights on the market right now. The top metal unscrews and the solid thick glass also unscrews to get to the bulb. They are without a doubt explosion proof. Very heavy as well. Both light fixtures have a little packet of screws and rubber ring inside them, the rubber rings are still in great shape and the screws are too. There is dust on them but I’m leaving them as they are to preserve authenticity. If they are to be restored into decorative lights or preserved as they are the choice is yours. The swivels work well, the locking handle will allow you to point the light were desired. The cord has been replaced with a standard 3 prong plug. The patina was tool cool to clean off, so I left it alone. 20 tall from the base to the top of the light, 12 inches wide, 7 inches deep. Base mounting holes are 4 inches, center to center. VTG 41 Rare Steampunk Nautical Brass Underwriters Lamp Ornate Light D-6281 RR

This thing is AWESOME!!! It stands 41 tall from the base to the top of the shade. Base is 34″ around it’s fattest part and 12″ wide. All the glass is intact and in great shape. You can see that the candle sticks inside are in good shape and working. The shade is in pretty good shape minus some staining on one side that may just clean up? I never tried, just turned it out of site. The leather band that wraps around it is in great loose shape, not dry or cracked. There is a couple cracks inside the shade lining but you can’t see them from the outside. It’s like a canvas burlap material outside. It’s not as heavy as it looks. Overall it’s in awesome shape and could look even better cleaned up. I honestly kind of don’t want to get rid of it : it’s too cool and you’re not gonna see another one like it. But it will need a new home soon anyway. So hopefully someone thinks it’s as awesome as I do. Please ask questions if needed and use pictures for further discription.
