This solid brass European style nautical piling post light with Fresnel lens is a fantastic example of one of our new production pieces. Due to the scarcity of some of these lights we have teamed up with a designer to custom make these stunning heavy duty brass lights. The high quality marine grade brass that is in a crisscross pattern around the thick glass Fresnel lens make these lights perfect for docks, outdoor landscaping, driveway entrances and patio decks. Due to the lights being constructed of brass they patina over time, but not rust or corrode, as it is exposed to the elements making them perfect out door lighting. This piling dock light is made of solid marine grade brass. It measures about 12 1/4 inches tall and is 7 3/4 inches wide. The mounting base measures 7 3/4 inches in diameter with four mount holes. The 360 degree Fresnel lens is surrounded by a solid brass cage with a crisscross pattern. The lens is made of heavy duty glass. This piling light weights a little over 23.5 pounds. Weight: 23.5 Pounds. We have installed a new UL-Listed bulb fixture and wiring, including a ground wire, that is rated up to 250 volts and 660 watts. This light takes a medium base bulb of 60 watts or less. To access the bulb unscrew the bolts just enough for the hinges to slide down, then lift off the top. 12 Inch Clear Tranberg Post Mounted Light. To discover why we are your best connection to original nautical salvaged items! This is an excellent 12 Inch Clear Tranberg Post Mounted Light. It is a nautical navigation port side light with a clear Fresnel lens. These lights are usually mounted at the bow or stern of the boat. Navigation lights alert other vessels of your positioning. The red indicates the port side of a boat. The green light indicates the starboard side. The white is seen from all angles typically mounted on the stern. In 1901 Olof Tranber founds Tranberg in Stavanger, Norway. By 1901 they had crested the world’s first electrical navigation light. They produced marine equipment for over 90 years until 2006 when they were acquired by German company R. This Tranberg post light is made of solid brass. The clear Fresnel lens is in excellent condition with minor chips or scratches due to being salvaged off a decommissioned vessel. We have installed a copper cap in the old conduit hole on the Tranberg junction box. The Tranberg plate is missing from the top. With 3 mounting holes. The light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a ground wire, that is rated for any voltage under 250 volts. The bulb holder takes a standard medium base LED or Edison bulb. Brass Post Mounted Navigation Light. This Vintage Brass Post Mounted Navigation Light is a salvaged light, rewired for home use. This would make a great post light for a driveway or walkway. Inside it would look great on an end table. The light features a glass Fresnel lens that spreads light long distances. The Fresnel lens is in fair condition, It has one chip about an inch long behind one of the brass poles. (Shown in the photos). Navigation lights alert other vessels of your positioning. This Tranberg post light with a red Fresnel lens was designed to weather the storm. This style of post-light can be used indoors or outdoor. They make great patio and dock lights. This post light is made of solid cast brass. The red 360-degree lens is a thick Fresnel lens. It has minor edge chipping and weathering due to years at sea. This light measures 13 1/2 inches tall and is 8 1/2 inches at its widest point. The mounting flange is 5 inches in diameter with 3 mount holes. This hefty light weighs 17 pounds. Height: just over 13.5? We have installed an all-new porcelain bulb holder, wiring, and a ground wire. All new electrical parts are UL-listed and are rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts.
