Vintage Heavy Brass Marine Piling Light Lantern with RED Fresnel Glass 4335 L 29

Weighs over twelve pounds. Long ago converted to a lamp simply by installing a pigtail, otherwise all original. Beautiful patina as it has never been polished or painted. Vintage red Fresnel glass with some damage to the ribs in a few spots but no cracks or repairs. The toggle switch near the bottom works beautifully. The cord is quite old but not at all cracked or brittle. The nuts on the lid/cap remove easily allowing quick access to the interior. I recommend NOT leaving it on or unattended without first having it checked by a qualified electrician. I took a photo (with flash) of the electrical “guts” so you can see how it is wired. I see a good amount of electrical tape was used. I had it turned on with an LED bulb for a good twenty minutes while I tested and photographed it, no problems. But I always recommend exercising extreme caution when dealing with old wiring and fixtures. Twelve photos posted including two photos showing how great this looks when turned on. Original bronze nautical piling lamp with blue lens which has been electrified. Working condition and looks good. Upper and lower light turn on independently. Wiring is intact (plug should be replaced). Rewiring the lamp would be a good idea though it has been in use in my office for several years with no issues. Lamp overall 19″ tall not including the finial, shade 15″ diameter. The original lamp is about 8 1/2″ tall and 6″ diameter. Please look at the pictures as they show the condition well. Vintage 10 Inch Ship’s Piling Light With Frenel Lens

Our lights come to you with all new wiring made by Westinghouse Electric that is UL Listed, so they are ready to install when you unpack them. This light has a beautiful clear Fresnel lens with no chips! The frame of this light measures 5 1/2 inches wide. The base of the light is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and has four holes for mounting. Weighs 7 1/2 pounds. This vintage light was rewired with a new UL-Listed bulb holder that was made by Westinghouse Electric. The bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 75 watts or less. The all new wiring is suited for any voltage under 250 volts. To access the bulb area, spin off this lights threaded cap.
