Rare Vintage Ray Line Search Light One Mile Range Maritime 10 110 Volt #1088

Very rare Ray Line model 1088 search light. 10 One Mile Range. 500 watt 110 volt. No bulb and the reflector mirror is in poor condition. It needs a new reflective backing. It is not chipped or broken, just needs reflective part. Chrome is pitted and worn. Needs refinished Most of the light is brass but some metal at places. Two small dents but overall it really straight See pics This thing is big and powerful. Would be great to hang this off your back deck and be able to see a mile away through the valley. Since its 110 volt it has many options as far as use. There aren’t many like this one around. VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1940’s – 50’s CHRIS CRAFT – GARWOOD OR HACKERCRAFT ONE MILE RAY SPOT LIGHT IN AS FOUND USED WORKING CONDITION. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 12VOLT”ONE MILE RAY” SPOTLIGHT FROM A VINTAGE 1940’s – 50’s MOTOR BOAT. THE SPOTLIGHT WAS MADE BY”THE PORTABLE LIGHT CO. AND IT MEASURES APPROX 18 1/2” TALL BY 14” WIDE AND WEIGHS OVER 16lbs. IT HAS A CRACK IN THE LENS AS SHOWN AND THE BOTTOM TURNING MECHANISM IS MISSING ALSO AS SHOWN IT HAS LOTS OF PATINA ON IT THAT WILL CLEAN OFF AND POLISH UP A LITTLE BUT I DID NOT CLEAN IT IN CASE YOU LIKE THE LOOKS AS IS FOR A SHELF PIECE. One Mile Ray – Chrome Spotlight. 12 volt basic wiring tested and works. Appears to be circa 1940’s to 1960’s. Maritime Search light with Mounting Yoke. Chrome and glass in pretty fair condition. This has not been restored. Shows signs of scuffs and/or scratches. A couple of small dents about 1/16th inch long. Minor haze to finish – should buff/polish out nicely. Half Mile Ray portable light company Vintage No. This item is used with lots of wear. This item possibly can be restored not sure , or can be used for parts only! This item has not been test. Not sure what age it is, could be from the 50’s. Glass Ok no cracks does show some spotting. Inside does show some rust on light socket. No light bulb with the unit. Original One Mile Ray marine spot light / search light. Model 500 12 volt. 11″ dia overall and 10″ deep from front of lens to back tip of housing. Believe its from the 1960s. In very good condition, no damage or repairs found. Light up when we put power to it from a car battery. It was acquire for use on a hotrod project but ended up not being used.
