Antique Vintage Brass Lovell U. S. Light House Service Light Ship Glass Light

Up for your consideration is a heavy Antique Vintage Brass Lovell U. Marked: “Lovell, Arlington NJ” and U. Weighs: 55 Lbs +. Measures approximately: 12″W (top screw down lugs/points) x 9 1/2″ diameter (cylinder) X 24H. Light has been modified internally with a light bulb to use as a table lamp, but need new power cord because of damage to plug. The clear glass lens/globe has considerable chipping of rimmed rings, but no cracks seen. Lugs to secure top to base work properly and top hinges fine. Light seems to consist of brass that has been painted black and shows wear, patina, scratches, and needs good detailed cleaning. Tip on top of light is bent and a little loose. Light House Service was formed in 1910 to maintain lighthouses and light vessels/ light ships (vessels with lighthouses to guide wayward ships) and was absorbed by the U. Vintage Brass Glass Ship Boat Anchor Light Nautical Beach House Decor Re-Wired

This beauty has both nautical charm and nice patina on the brass. This would be wonderful on a boat again, but would make great nautical home decor as well. It is solid brass with cast metal base with a thick, heavy ribbed glass lens. It is very heavy weighing 13 Lbs and built to last. The glass is 3 diameter and about 3-1/2 tall. The brass has it’s original patina. It is in very good condition, the wiring has been restored with original socket with 120v bulb and is ready to enjoy. Vintage Antique 1930’s Light House Table Lamp Cast Aluminum Wooden Base 13 Tall

This wonderful antique 1930’s Nautical Table lamp is a stunning rare find! Notice the gorgeous details in the casting of the lighthouse standing majestically on the rocks. It displays beautifully on it’s original wooden base, which is 10 3/8 round. The lamp has it’s original brass and porcelain socket, but has been rewired with black twisted cotton cord, which also has it’s original clicker inline switch, to easily turn on/off. The cord is 6 feet long with bakelite plug. The light house lamp is made of cast aluminum. Measurements: Height: 13″ Tall Width: 10 3/8″ wooden base Width: 6 approx. Diameter of rocky base This lamp takes a small base bulb, a very small one to fit inside the top of the light house. We used a 7 watt Christmas tree bulb. The bulb is easily replaced by unscrewing the small brass set screw and removing the top. The lamp is in great antique condition, rewired. Please note in photos, there is very light wear to the wooden base. The cast aluminum light house does have some light pitting in the casting as shown in the close ups. Vintage Copper NAUTICAL CEILING FIXTURE Porch Boat House Maritime Light Lamp

Offered today is a very nice vintage nautical maritime themed copper ceiling fixture. This fixture is in very sturdy and solid condition. Looks like it needs a good cleaning and/or polishing but I’ll leave that to the new owner just in case you’re looking for the aged look. Wires are still connected as you can see in photo #10, but the insulation is looking pretty cracked an crumbly and it should be rewired before use. Porcelain socket is in great shape. The globe has a small chip out of the top that can bee seen in photos #7 & 8. That chip can’t be seen when the globe is in place. The globe also has a couple internal cracks that can be seen in photo #9. I can’t feel them with my fingernail on the inside or outside. Hardly noticeable when lit. Fixture measures 9-3/8″ tall X 5-5/8″ in diameter. Thanks for looking and Good Luck! -refer to photos for condition as they are part of the description.
