Beautifully Aged Antique Brass Explosion Proof Light Fixture Weathered Patina

This is one very nice explosion proof all cast brass ornate nautical light fixture! This light is in excellent condition with original patina, rewired working and tested as shown in pictures. I have replaced the old rusted iron set screw with a brand new brass set screw which I fabricated myself. This light measures approx 5 inches by 5 inches by 11 inches and will fit a standard box mount. The socket is in excellent condition, has two poles for easy “daisy chaining”, and is marked Kulka Electric Mfg. 130 which I imagine is the maker of this fixture. This light is easily of the same quality of a Russell & Stoll Co. Fixture of similar age – very well made and ornate as well. Very heavy cast brass and a nice tempered glass vapor sealed globe. The condition on this old light fixture is as exceptional as the quality of its make, and it is ready to be installed. It measures 5+1/2 inches tall and 9+1/2 inches wide at the base. The glass has minor scratches and scuffs with no chips or no cracks. The lens housing lid hinges on and off. Antique Explosion Proof Bulkhead Ship Light Red Lens FREE Shipping

A beautiful reclaimed maritime red lens explosion proof light. The cage and lower base is rusted but constructionally strong. The screw down base (which holds the cage) appears to be copper or brass because of the light green patina. The red lens is solid. When I hold it up to the sun, I can not see a bulb but there is debris on the inside part of the lens. I do not see any ports for electrical or how to unscrew the cage to examine the inner lens. The only factory marking I can see are; ” Red ” on the lower base and ” 9S4594L ” on the light green base. (Please see photos for condition).
