Vintage Clear Lens Brass 12 Inch Tranberg Post Mounted Light Real Ship Salvage

Just google our name. And discover why we are your best connection to original nautical salvaged items! This Tranberg brass post light stands just over 12 inches tall. This light has a beautiful glass Fresnel lens! The lens measures 6 1/2 inches wide. The base of the light is 5 inches in diameter. This vintage light was rewired with a new UL-Listed bulb holder that was made by Westinghouse Electric. The bulb holder takes a medium base bulb of 75 watts or less. The all new wiring is suited for any voltage under 250 volts. We have installed a copper cap in the old conduit hole on the Tranberg junction box. To access the bulb fixture, simply undo the latch on the top and flip open the lid. This light has wear and tear from years of sea travel, the clear fresnel lens is in good condition with a couple minor dings but no major chips or cracks. Large Vintage PERKO Galvanized Clear Fresnel Lens Marine Ship Oil Lamp Light

Vintage Perko (Perkins Marine) galvanized 360 deg. Originally used as anchor light or “not under command” (captain not at helm) light for large vessels. This is one of the largest of it’s kind I have ever seen. 19″ tall including hanger ring, and 10″ in diameter. Turret style top is brass or brass plated. Original fresnel clear lens, with a white frost at top factory? Lens is securely in place with factory sealer, probably stove seam sealer. Galvanized finish lamp with anodized cage surround to protect lens. The finish is gone on the cage. Cage attached with stainless screws. High capacity oil or kero tank to supply wick with fuel. Wick included as is working flame adjuster mechanism. Looks like wick holder maybe non original or sourced part (Eagle). No pinhole leaks detected visually in tank seam solder. Lamp age early 1960’s, after Perkins Marine moved to Miami from NY. Great for outdoor patio illumination. Vtg Copper Nautical Light Wall Mount Porch Post Lamp – Clear Ribbed Glass -Thick.. This lamp is in very good condition showing some signs of use and it has the nice aged patina. It will need to be rewired. There is a small chip on the edge of two of the glass ribs shown in photo. The lamp is heavy and solid. The clear ribbed glass is very thick. Please do use the photo enhancer for your best assessment of its cosmetic condition. With the mount it projects out from the wall 10. The lamp base diameter is 6.5. Markings: METROLITE COPPER LANTERN NO. Is embossed on the bottom rim of the lens. This lamp is the real thing… The weight, aged patina and very old wiring attest to that.
