Constructed of a metal back plate with hard plastic frame with a translucent nautical image between 2 pieces of glass. The red Budweiser logo is reverse painted glass with a gold anodized metal frame. Illuminated by a fluorescent tube with starter and transformer and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite when first turned on, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. The cord, plug, and inline on off switch have been replaced with new. The item has been disassembled, cleaned inside and out, and the frame repainted, as there were a couple of cracks. These were repaired with a two part epoxy inside and out. Looks nice but not factory perfect. I took a close up pic of these areas. The back plate has some nicotine staining from spending years in a tavern.
