THIS LISTING IS FOR A VINTAGE, PERKO BRASS BEEHIVE STERN LIGHT. PERFECT FOR YOUR VINTAGE RUNABOUT. IT WAS JUST REWIRED WITH A NEW 1156 SIZE SOCKET AND HAS A BRAND NEW LED BULB INSTALLED, SO IT IS READY TO MOUNT AND USE, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST COMMON BULB SOCKETS AND YOU CAN EASILY REPLACE THE LED BULB FOR A MORE TRADITIONAL INCANDESCENT TYPE BULB. IT MEASURES APROX 24″ TALL, THE ROUND FLAG BASE MEASURES APROX 2″ DIAMETER. THE POLE AND GLOBE FIXTURE AT THE TOP HAVE TRULY AMAZING PATINA, REALLY A NICELY AGED FINISH THAT ALL I HAVE DONE IS TO BUFF IT WITH SOME WAX, I WAS VERY CAREFUL TO REMOVE ALL THE OLD GRIME WITHOUT REMOVING THE PATINA. I HAD TO GET A NEW BASE WHICH IS SOLID BRONZE BUT DOESN’T HAVE THE PATINA THAT THE POLE HAS. I WOULD HATE TO DO IT BUT IF THE NEW OWNER WOULD PREFER A BRIGHT SHINY FINISH ON THE POLE TO MATCH THE BASE, I CAN MAKE IT GLEAMING SHINY BRASS, BUT IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 70 – 80 YEARS TO GET IT BACK AGAIN. THIS REALLY IS A BEAUTIFUL LIGHT AND WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR VINTAGE VESSEL, THIS TRULY IS YACHT JEWELRY. Each light measures about 32 inches tall, from the ceiling flange down to the base of each light. The wide bottom of each light measures 17 1/4 inches in diameter. The glass lenses are 14 1/2 inches in diameter. The brass ceiling mount plate measures 5 inches in diameter with four mount holes. The weight of each light is about 31 pounds. Each light has been totally rewired using UL-Listed parts and includes a ground wire. The new bulb holder was made by Westinghouse Electric and takes a normal screw-in house bulb of 100 watts or less. The new wiring and bulb holder is rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts. This is a beautiful weathered unpolished Wiska cargo pendant light that has had some minor modifications to make them more user friendly and easy to hang. The U shaped bracket design was modified to better fit the brass down rod. The down rod in the center hides the wires going up to the ceiling. The cast brass ceiling mount plate is something we added to this design to allow for easy installation and provide a more finished look. We know some of our customers prefer a weathered or industrial look, so when we received this light after the paint was removed, we decided to leave it unpolished with a natural patina! This light measures about 32 inches tall, from the ceiling flange down to the base of each light. The wide bottom of each light measures 17 1/4 inches in diameter. The glass lens measures 14 1/2 inches in diameter. The brass ceiling mount plate measures 5 inches in diameter with four mount holes. The weight of this light is about 31 pounds. This light has been totally rewired using UL-Listed parts and includes a ground wire.
