Vintage Antique 1930’s Light House Table Lamp Cast Aluminum Wooden Base 13 Tall

This wonderful antique 1930’s Nautical Table lamp is a stunning rare find! Notice the gorgeous details in the casting of the lighthouse standing majestically on the rocks. It displays beautifully on it’s original wooden base, which is 10 3/8 round. The lamp has it’s original brass and porcelain socket, but has been rewired with black twisted cotton cord, which also has it’s original clicker inline switch, to easily turn on/off. The cord is 6 feet long with bakelite plug. The light house lamp is made of cast aluminum. Measurements: Height: 13″ Tall Width: 10 3/8″ wooden base Width: 6 approx. Diameter of rocky base This lamp takes a small base bulb, a very small one to fit inside the top of the light house. We used a 7 watt Christmas tree bulb. The bulb is easily replaced by unscrewing the small brass set screw and removing the top. The lamp is in great antique condition, rewired. Please note in photos, there is very light wear to the wooden base. The cast aluminum light house does have some light pitting in the casting as shown in the close ups. Vintage Nautical Maritime Ship Ceiling Light Lamp Morio Denki With Oak Wood Base

Please excuse the glare in the photos. This nautical ceiling lamp, which looks to be made from brass or bronze, is mounted to an oak base, as found. It has a glass shade within the protective metal cage. The green light bulb is included. The lamp has a brown plastic cord, with an in-line on/off switch. This piece is approximately 10 3/4 inches tall, 10 7/8 inches long, and 10 inches wide. Unpacked, it weighs just over 21 pounds. This would be a good addition to a nautical decor. Identification This vintage (circa 1970) lamp was made by Morio Denki. The lamp has an information placard, as shown. Condition This item looks very good overall. It has light wear, including some minor pitting and verdigris corrosion. One the bolts that holds the cage housing together is partially present (the top of the bolt is broken off and missing). The cage which protects the glass has some bends and irregularities. One of the cage welds is broken. The lamp works; as with all used electrical items, it should be inspected by a professional before use. The cord, socket, and plug look good cosmetically.
