Scarce, low production large Genesee rotating lighted beer sign. 18″ across the top diagonally, 13″ across the top on each side, 8″ across the bottom on each side, by approx 17″ tall. Constructed of a metal lid and supports with hard plastic bottom and bottom protruding post, with thick translucent mylar sign faces. There is a motor that when turned on makes the sign slowly rotate to show the 4 different scenes. The motor comes right on and is quiet. It naturally makes a soft noise, which is normal for the older motion signs. Illuminated by a single incandescent bulb and works fine. Simply unscrew the bottom protruding lantern post to access the light bulb. The item displays nicely and is in good vintage condition, but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina. The one scene is slightly bent in at the bottom, although this looks like a factory flaw. Not very noticeable regardless, just trying to be thorough. The cord has an in line on off switch, and the cord has been lengthened and taped, so you should have it replaced for safety. Besides that just the normal wear and tear and patina. All told a super cool old motion sign that would look great displayed in your fishing cabin, lake house, bar, restaurant, tavern, etc. I will include the hanging chain shown.
