For your consideration is one Progress Manufacturing / Lighting vintage nautical copper porch light fixture sconce that has been reconditioned. This beautiful fixture has been brought back to its original satin copper housing with brass trim. The housing was cleaned, scuffed and satin surface was then sprayed with a clear lacquer finish. In addition, The original Fresnel glass cylinder was cleaned and polished and have no chips or cracks and were carefully assembled back into the housing. The standard size light socket has also be replaced with a new one and was tested before and after the assembly (the standard light bulb not included). This lamp has had much care and detail to bring it back to its original glory! I will provide a mounting bracket, wire nuts and brass screws. Why spend more for a similar copper lamp that is dirty, unrestored, paint spattered, dented, has missing or damaged components and will need re-wiring? Yet some asking prices are higher than mine in that noted condition on this site. This one is all done and ready to install. I don’t know the exact age of the fixture but I have a Progress Manufacturing catalog from 1956 that displays this fixture.
