This is a nice vintage nautical chrome metal search lamp light (see photos). The item is vintage and it is American in origin (see photos). There is a metal tag on the item that identifies the item and the maker to be: The Portable Light Company (see photos). The item has the original finish (see photos). The item is American US in origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item in total measures about 1 foot 10 inches high (including the lower pole portion). The lamp and base portion without the pole extension measure about 1 foot 2 and 1/2 inches high. The item is about 10 inches wide from side to side and it is about 7 inches from the front side to the back side. The light portion case alone measures about 8 inches wide. The base portion measures about 5 and 1/2 inches wide at the portion that mounts to the boat. The item has been wired for use, but I would think you would need to re-wire the lamp before use. The item has some dents, some corrosion to the metal and chrome, chrome losses, some dents, some scuffs, some finish losses and some other signs of wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
