The light are been refurbished by stripping off all the old paint and then we have polished them so that they are ready for use, we have wired these lamps with UL approved sockets, cords. This design is normally referred to as a bulkhead design because is was designed to mount directly to the wall with the globe pointing down. The construction on these salvaged lights is excellent and last for years and years under all weather conditions and that why they are perfect for beach homes and can be used both indoor and outdoor. The light has been salvaged from an ocean liner from the 1960’s and will just gain a very natural patina over a period of time.
