It is an amazing COLLECTOR’S EXAMPLE! This lantern is complete with its original drop in oil burner and font. Wonderful old copper patina and heavy brass hardware!! I don’t think one of this quality and condition will come around for a VERY LONG TIME. Measures 23″ tall with the handle x 11 1/2″ in diameter. Marked in heavy emboss on the makers plate “ANCHOR LIGHT No 1235 GREAT BRITAIN 1919″. This lantern came in different sizes with the 1235 number. This has to be one of the larger versions. Take a look at the photos. This is a very well made and decorated lantern with heavy cast brass hardware. The Fresnel lens is GORGEOUS and lights up wonderfully when lit. All original and complete.
