This is a fantastic vintage 1940s era Nautical ceiling light fixture, packed with Maritime detail. The thick pressed glass shade has a smooth white frosted exterior finish and clear raised detailing. When you look up at the light, the bottom has 3 large sailboats circled with rope & star accents. The tall sides are highlighted with 2 clear rings of rope, a clear rope rim & more star detailing. This light is fairly hard to find, (especially in excellent condition) and I have another if a pair is needed. The fixture has been rewired with 2 new UL listed sockets & wiring, 60 watt maximum standard base bulbs. The shade measure 10.25″ wide x 3.75″ deep and hangs 7 from the ceiling to bottom of shade, perfect for lower ceilings in a ranch or bungalow. The entire light is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or issues and beautifully displays the use of early semi-direct lighting. This light will arrive ready to hang with mounting hardware for easy installation included. To date, all my packages have been safely delivered without damage, both domestic and international.
