This vintage industrial light fixture by Russell & Stoll, originating from the United States in the 1920’s, is perfect for adding character to any space. The trouble light, with its cage design and vapor proof construction, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its authenticity as an antique original adds to its charm. This is rusty and crusty. The glass is broken and the cord is cut.
No dings, dents, cracks or broken pieces. Has not been polished in any way. The face measures approx 9 1/2 inches round. The glass itself measures approx 7 1/2 inches round. Measures approx 14 3/4 inches entirely from top to bottom. Measures approx 10 inches entirely from side to side. The front rim around the glass is stamped Pauluhn NY Cat No 144. The square box on the lower area is also stamped Pauluhn. Back rim is stamped 1447-2. The explosion proof glass is stamped PECO. Weighs a little more than 17 lbs. Please feel free to ask. There is some glare in the photos that could not be avoided.
I was told this is an old explosion proof light out of an old submarine.
