Stunning Vintage Ships Brass Gimbal Ward Room /Cabin Light By McGeoch & Co. Admiralty Pattern AP9009 – Solid brass example with an attractive weighted gimbal. These lamps could be used on a table or mounted on a bulkhead or wall in a horizontal position. While not dated this pattern was in service with the Royal Navy in WW11. The lamp has been recently rewired and is complete with retro cable and shade. This example would date to the early 20th century. Height 13.5 (34cm). No major damage, a few dints and marks commensurate with age. Please see all photos as these form part of the description. This exceptional item will make a great display piece for nautical decor.
