Vintage Nautical Light

The lantern was electrified in the past and can easily be used as originally intended or used as an electric lantern. One small hole in the top has been drilled and a socket attached to the cross member both of which can be easily reversed if desired. This is a large lantern measuring 18 1/4″ tall not counting either upper or lower swinging bail handle and 11 1/4″ in diameter counting the lens guards. The original burner is in place and the original heavy glass lens is in place. The lantern is in wonderful condition and I have not found any dents or breaks with all parts present and working as they should. The electrical light works as well with the plastic cover on the interior socket being a little brittle. This is a heavy duty lantern weighing in at over 13 lbs!
