This is an authentic salvaged brass nautical hanging light with quite a bit of weathering. These rare nautical hanging lights are also known as fox lights. From the top of the ceiling flange to the base of the light, this light measures about 31 inches tall. The face measures 17.5 inches in diameter and the undamaged glass lens measures about 14.25 inches in diameter. The ceiling mount plate is 6 inches in diameter and has 4 mount holes. This unique nautical antique pendant light has been totally rewired with new UL-Listed wiring and a porcelain bulb holder. It takes a medium base bulb of 100 watts or less. The new wiring, including a ground wire, exits the light from the center of the ceiling flange. Which is rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts.
