I have not attempted to clean or polish this Lantern. I will leave that up to the new owner. It measures approximately 11 inches tall by 6 3/4 inches deep , this includes the wall bracket and side mounts, please refer to the photos. Without the wall bracket or side mounts it measures 4 5/8 inches across the bottom. It is heavy weighing in at almost 4 pounds. It is electric, you may wish to rewire it due to the old wiring. The lamp is brass with copper rivets. The bottom of the latern has a bubble glass panel. The bottom is marked “MADE IN HOLLAND”. This is a very large vintage brass port navigation light made by Perko Marine. It measures 15″ tall, 14″ wide, 12 deep and weighs 13 lbs. Look closely at the pictures. Almost no dents to the brass or chips to the lens. You will have a hard time finding one this nice. The small flake on the lens is approximately 1/8 wide. This is a matched pair of ORIGINAL NAUTICAL MARINE MASTHEAD LIGHTS made by Nippon Sento Company LTD. Of Japan in June 1981. The Model Class “B” No. It can be wired for lights and used outdoors if so desired. The top light bulb access is reached by unscrewing the three bolts on the top of the light. Underneath this top there is a rubber gasket for weather conditions. There are three bolt-down points at the base of the light. The fresnel lens takes the amount of light supplied by the bulb and greatly amplifies it like you would see on a lighthouse lens. There is a light bulb socket in one but the other has had it removed. It can easily be re-wired if you wish to light the fixtures. It is of solid brass I believe. It measures 9″ tall x 9 1/2″ wide. This comes as a set of TWO LIGHTS for one price. This light set was made for heavy duty usage. Each light fixture weighs over 6 pounds. THIS IS A QUALITY SET OF COMMERCIAL NAUTICAL LIGHTING FIXTURES..
