Up for your consideration is a Vintage U. Coast Guard Navigational Buoy Light Lantern. BU-46 04-8 (see photo # 4). Measures approximately: 11″W (top screw down lugs/points) x 8″ diameter (red globe) X 22H (top spear point). Light seems to consist of aluminum body and red glass globe that has been painted black and shows wear, patina, scratches, and needs good detailed cleaning. Light is missing one stainless rod that holds top secure (see photo # 9). There is not a light or any internal components. This light is the housing and red globe only.
