Vtg Copper Nautical Light Wall Mount Porch Post Lamp – Clear Ribbed Glass -Thick.. This lamp is in very good condition showing some signs of use and it has the nice aged patina. It will need to be rewired. There is a small chip on the edge of two of the glass ribs shown in photo. The lamp is heavy and solid. The clear ribbed glass is very thick. Please do use the photo enhancer for your best assessment of its cosmetic condition. With the mount it projects out from the wall 10. The lamp base diameter is 6.5. Markings: METROLITE COPPER LANTERN NO. Is embossed on the bottom rim of the lens. This lamp is the real thing… The weight, aged patina and very old wiring attest to that. Large vintage nautical Porch light lantern. It has chipped and flaking old black paint with some rust. There is a notch cut out of the canopy. The thick and heavy glass shade is in very good undamaged condition. There are a few dents, dings and minor bends. The porcelain socket is attached to a junction box and it just sits in a hole at the center of the canopy, so the fixture itself is not wired.
