Very good condition for its age. Measures 13.5 x 8 not counting handle at top. Weighs over 12 lbs. Fresnel glass has a few small chips, nothing major. Lantern is in very good condition with no real noticeable damage other than a few dents. Has light socket inside with a cord for plugging in. Please see all photos and thanks for looking. Vintage Nippon Sento Side Light Copper & Brass Nautical Oil Lamp

Nippon Sento Side Light Nautical Oil Lamp. 19 to top of Lamp. 23 1/4 to top of hanger. 10 1/4 across the bottom at the widest point. All glass including main clear lens, red lens and lamp shade are in nice condition, no cracks or breaks. Housing shows some dings and dents. The wick adjustment knob is stiff or stuck, I didnt want to try forcing it so that would need some attention with cleaning and lubrication. The LED lighting shown in the photos was for photo purposes only, no modifications have been made, no artificial lighting is included. Please see photos and thanks for looking! Vintage Maritime Red Port Side Signal Light, Western Railroad Supply Co, Chicago

This sale is for a vintage maritime signal light made by Western Railroad Supply Co, Chicago. With red glass, this light may have been used as a nautical signal light for the port (left) side. These units have also been used as brake or stop signals on railroad lines. It measures 22 inches tall on its base, and the diameter of the base is 7 inches. It has internal wiring for a standard light bulb, and pictures can be seen with a test bulb lit up inside of it. The glass is original with no damage or cracks. This is a very rare find in such good condition! It appears that the entire housing is crafted in solid brass. We have not cleaned this unit at all. The unit has a beautiful patina.
