Finding one of these is next to impossible, here’s Two! These are the Dual Lens examples. They were made by J. H Peters and Bey of Hamburg, Germany. They look untouched other than normal cleaning while in service, now they have a rich, dark patina. They retain their original electrical sockets and all lenses and globes. All latches and hinges work well. In picture 9 from the left, looking at the back, the top left bracket is missing a small piece. The bodies are about 10 inches wide, not including brackets, and they stand almost 20 inches tall. I don’t know how they could be better. The item “Vintage J. H. Peter & Bey in Germany. It measures 16.5 inches tall with handle, and 13 inches wide. It weighs 12.6 lbs. The glass Fresnel lens is in nice condition with a few edge chips. This is a salvaged light that has spent years at sea and shows scratches and dents as seen in the pictures. The rear locking tap on the back door is broken. The light has it’s original light with glass protective globe and brass screw down ring. The removable red lens shade is intact and can be used or not.
