Vintage Perko Antique Boat Port/Starboard Sidelights Glass Lenses Nautical Decor

Vintage Perko Port and Starboard Sidelights. These were probably used on a cruiser and probably date to the’30’s to’50’s. They are made of stamped brass with the original glass lenses. They could be used on an antique boat or be repurposed as a cool nautical decoration or lake house light. Sale is for both lights. These were donated to the Finger Lakes Boating Museum and all funds go to help ongoing programs. Condition of the lights is good. The chrome is not bad and would benefit with more polishing. The starboard (green) glass is perfect, the. Port glass had a couple of small chips, but no cracks. The housing on the port light has a small crack (see picture).

Set of 3 painted nautical boat lights. There are 2 split colored glass bow lights. They are both brass. And a stern light, I think, with a green glass lens. This one is metal. This set of (5) vintage exterior lights is a must-have for those who love a touch of maritime charm in their decor. The lights are designed to be post-mounted and are made of copper, making them durable and long-lasting. Each light comes with a fresnel lens that adds a unique touch to the design, and an anchor completes the nautical theme. These lights are perfect for outdoor use and will add a cool vintage vibe to any space they are placed in. Please refer to pictures for more details. Four of the lights have two connecting straps that hold in the Fresnel lens as seen in one of the pictures one of the lights does not have straps. Lights have a very nice green patina and material appears to be copper. Material is definitely not magnetic. As seen in pictures mounting bracelets have some paint and plaster on them. Definitely could use some polishing or just clean up but very cool! Only one has a mounting bolt in it. Looking at the cloth wire and the old underwriter stickers these could be from the 40s or probably no earlier than the 50s. THIS LISTING IS FOR A VINTAGE PAIR OF MM? HINGED TEARDROP POLISHED BRONZE RUNNING LIGHTS, THESE ARE NICE IN THAT THEY COME WITH GLASS LENSES. I ALSO HAVE A BOW LIGHT IN THE SAME DESIGN FROM THE SAME BOAT IN A SEPARATE LISTING, (SEE LAST PHOTO) THIS LISTING IS ONLY FOR THE 2 SIDE RUNNING LIGHTS. I JUST INSTALLED NEW BULB SOCKETS, AND VERY BRIGHT LOW DRAW (2 WATT) LED BULBS. THESE ARE THE NICEST TEARDROP LIGHTS I HAVE HAD MY HANDS ON. BUT THEY ARE BEAUTIFULLY ENGINEERED. I HAVEN’T SEEN THESE IN A HINGED DESIGN BEFORE AND THEY OPEN/CLOSE WELL AND SCREW DOWN TIGHT, THE SCREW IS RETAINED BY A SPECIAL WASHER ON THE INSIDE. THE GLASS LENSES SCREW IN WITH A RUBBER GASKET, WHICH SHOULD MAKE THEM COMPLETELY WEATHER TIGHT ON THE EXTERIOR. THE INTERIOR MALE RECEPTACLE THAT GOES THROUGH YOUR CABIN SIDE HAS ANOTHER WEATHER TIGHT FLANGE THAT HAS A HEAVY RUBBER GROMET ON THE SEAT OF THE FEMALE END. I DON’T KNOW THAT YOU NEED A WEATHER PROOF INTERIOR SEAL BUT IF YOU WERE TO SEAL THE WIRE LEADS IN YOU WOULD HAVE IT WEATHERPROOF INSIDE AND OUT. THE TREADED PORTION THAT GOES THROUGH THE CABIN SIDE IS WIDE ENOUGH TO ACCOMMODATE UP TO 3/4 AND STILL BE ABLE T. O FIT ON THE WEATHER PROOF END CAP, ALONG WITH THE RETAINING NUT AND HEAVY WASHER. IF YOU HAVE THICKER CABIN SIDES YOU COULD USE THE END CAP ONLY, TO HOLD IT IN AND COULD ACCOMMODATE UP TO A 1 1/8 THICK SIDES. THERE IS ALSO AN APROX 3/16 SCREW HOLE ON THE OTHER SIDE. THEY MEASURE APROX 4 1/2″ LONG, 1 7/8″ WIDE AND ARE ABOUT 1 1/2 TALL, THEY HAVE. I JUST INSTALLED NEW LED BULBS IN THEM AND THEY ARE REALLY BRIGHT AT 450 LUMENS, AND DRAW APROX 2 WATTS. Location – #28 with buoys. For sale is a rare Vintage early Fresnel clear glass lens lamp / light, probably by Perko – With associated use, wear & tear, Exactly as pictured. Zinc / Galvanized finish. Definitely one of the higher quality pieces from the entire collection. Authentic genuine / vintage nautical decor is become increasing hard to come by. It was never touched up or altered in any fashion by us. And I suppose I should say while this appears to be a functional light / lamp, it was never technically “used” by us other than to set a flameless battery-operated table candle underneath it for ambience. A rare item that has been a part of our maritime decor for a long time – Like almost 35 years. Add it to your collection, or just add some interesting flair to your room. About 14.5″ tall and 5.5 – 6″ in diameter. Those are just great colors. The “green” is kinda on the bluish side of things. It really does have a great patina. I only see the 1 small chip / flake in the fresnel styled glass lenses as pictured. It was part of our nautical collection on our huge enclosed back porch. It sat on the coffee table. THESE HAVE REALLY RICH JEWEL LIKE BLUE/GREEN, AND RUBY RED COLORED GLASS LENSES, STUNNING ESPECIALLY WITH THE VERY BRIGHT, NEW LED WIRING, THE BULBS EACH PUT OUT 90 LUMENS OF LIGHT WHILE DRAWING ONLY 1.68 WATTS EACH, AMAZING! I REMEMBER WHEN IF YOU LEFT THE RUNNING LIGHTS ON OVERNIGHT YOU COULD DRAIN YOUR BATTERY. THEY MEASURE APROX 4 1/4″ LONG, BY APROX 1 3/4″ WIDE AND PROTRUDE FROM THE CABIN SIDES APROX 1 5/8 AT THE WIDEST POINT. THE ONLY MARKINGS I CAN FIND IS AF 247 CAST INTO THE BASE OF BOTH LIGHTS, NOT SURE WHO MAKES THEM, THEY ARE NICELY MADE THOUGH AND READY TO MOUNT AND USE ALTHOUGH I WOULD GET NEW O-RINGS FOR THE LENSES, THERE ARE SOME INCLUDED BUT THEY ARE LIKELY AS OLD AS THE LIGHTS AND NOT VERY PLIABLE. THIS REALLY MAKES A STATEMENT AND WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR VINTAGE RUNABOUT, THIS TRULY IS YACHT JEWELRY.
