With various plaques with makers name and numbers. The lamps are from Scotland, made by the well-known company R. This company was based in Glasgow. A beautiful pair of lamps in excellant condition. All parts are still good and the copper/brass is in excellent condition. Especially the combination brass with copper makes the lamp extra nice and special. With a special oil light with 2 adjustable burners. Including the Fresnel glass that’s still fine. Complete with internal Red & Blue filters for Port and Starboard. The clasps still work well. The lamps have a bracket for hanging. But as you can see in the pictures they can stand fine on there own. A photo with a wine bottle has been added so that the size is easy to determine. They are an impressive size standing 25″ tall including the extended handle (63 cm) x 13″ x 14. Fine examples of the type. A matched pair in totally original condition.
