Here we have an original 1940’s era LIGHTOLIER NAUTICAL COMPASS THEME FLUSH MOUNT CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE. This fixture came out of a wonderful cottage on Lake Erie near Port Clinton Ohio in Lakeside Marblehead. From our research they appear to sell quite solidly around the 600.00 – 800.00 range “quite desirable”. We tried to price ours fair, to account for some work it will need. As you can see this one will need some restoration. If you are handy at all with this kind of thing it should be a fairly easy restoration. The frame needs painted and the brass spheres polished. You will also want to make sure the wiring set up is safe. The wonderful compass theme globe is in nice condition as you can see. The original anchor finial is also present which is often missing. The ceiling plate frame measures approximately 12 3/4 inches across and the glass globe measures approximately 10 inches across by 3 inches tall. This would make a wonderful light fixture if you had a Vintage yacht or Chris Craft cabin cruiser to use it in. Also what a wonderful light for a beach house or cottage. I will package this item with GREAT CARE! To ensure it arrives at its new home in as seen condition.
